Three company cooperation: turn-key filled lollipop line

In Cologne, three companies will present their combined expertise in the production of filled lollipops: Hänsel Processing, Proform and GEA Aquarius. The combined expertise of these companies allows manufacturers to benefit from knowledge in their respective fields while enjoying the simplicity of a single point of contact for purchasing and installation.

This is an extruder that has been specially developed for filling hard sweets, which are filled in a cone roller with either chewing gum or soft sweets. Optionally, double-core lollipops can be produced by adding a liquid filling into the soft candy or chewing gum for extra flavour. The GE/BR filling extruder can be seen in the photo on the far left.
The Proform GE/BR extruder fills the hard candies formed by Hänsel Processing's cone roller and levelling machine. This type of extruder delivers a very constant and uniform filling quantity.

The Hänsel lollipop moulding line shown in the centre of the picture consists of:
• The HKR 2320 cone roller has four conical rollers for the precise production of an even cone of sweets. The speed of the rollers, the angle of inclination and the temperature of the heating elements can be set via the HMI and saved in the PLC.
• The HZU 2630 levelling machine is used in the STRADA® forming line to ensure a precisely calibrated candy strip. It can be designed with either four or five pairs of calibrating rollers.

The highly flexible FlexFormer machine (pictured right) can be used to produce anything from classic balls to intricate 3D lollipops such as footballs, baseballs or oranges. The FlexFormer is not just about creativity, it is also a productivity engine with a special hardened mould set and quick format changeovers that extend uptime.
