Nougat Chabert & Guillot is the leading producer of white nougat from Montélimar. The IFS-certified company's products are available in all distribution channels and for export. It also offers a wide range of ingredients for the confectionery industry and the artisan sector.
Founded in 1848, the family business now employs 150 people, produces around 3,000 tonnes of nougat every year, exports to all continents and generates an annual turnover of more than 20 million euros. The company holds various certificates: IFS (higher level), organic, halal and kosher.
In addition to the traditional ‘Nougat de Montélimar’, innovative nougat flavours are also offered. Chabert & Guillot products can be found in the retail trade, both under the Chabert & Guillot brand and under private labels. Chabert & Guillot supplies a wide range of ingredients for further processing by the confectionery industry, confectioners, chocolate and ice cream manufacturers. Well-known confectionery producers use Chabert & Guillot ingredients or have customised products developed.
The range consists of products based on nougat (as cream, curd or powder, chocolate coating with nougat cream, nougat for coating with chocolate) and based on nuts (almonds, pistachios, pecan nuts, hazelnuts), which are offered roasted, chopped, ground, as cream, caramelised or flavoured. New are caramelised buckwheat grains, which are also available as a paste or chopped. Part of the range is available in organic quality and most of the products are vegan and gluten-free.
Chabert & Guillot has developed a sugar reduced nougat that is also available for industrial processing. It contains 30 % less sugar than traditional nougat and does not contain any synthetic sweeteners.
