Fi Europe reaches record size in 2024

From 19–21 November, Frankfurt will once again host Fi Europe 2024 – the world's leading trade fair for ingredients. With over 1,500 exhibitors and a top-class lecture programme, the trade fair will be a place of inspiration for presenting innovations, sharing industry knowledge and building business relationships.

More than 25,000 visitors from 135 countries are expected to attend. The exhibitors include leading companies such as Brenntag, Cargill, Fonterra and Prinova. Exhibitors from all ingredient segments will be represented on the main exhibition area. The ‘Petfood Suppliers Hub’, where visitors can find out about the latest ingredients and technologies for the production of pet food, will be making its debut. The expanded ‘Food Manufacturing Technologies & Solutions’ area is the place to go for anyone looking for innovative approaches to make their company fit for the future, including research and development, the supply chain and logistics.

With its exhibition space, the trade fair is seen as an opportunity for networking and building business relationships. Exhibitors will showcase their innovations in presentations, and all visitor tickets include free entry to the ‘Innovation Hub’, where presentations and discussions on a wide range of topics will take place for the entire duration of the trade fair. A visit to the two-day Fi Europe conference programme on 19 and 20 November is also included in the visitor ticket. Here, experts will present innovative solutions that address current challenges in the industry, as well as approaches for research and product development.

Yannick Verry, Brand Director, Food Ingredients Europe & Americas, comments: "We are delighted to be back in Frankfurt with Fi Europe in 2024. The trade fair is developing and growing in line with the needs of the ingredients industry. We are continuously working to offer visitors and exhibitors even better opportunities for dialogue and networking. This year, in addition to our tried-and-tested offerings, we have created some new formats that will make the event even more valuable."

The Future of Nutrition Summit will take place on 18 November, the day before the trade fair begins, at the Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt and is open to visitors with a Delegate Pass. This special event brings together the leading minds and visionaries of the food industry to give presentations and discuss the trends of the future. Topics include food and artificial intelligence or sustainable solutions. Sustainability will be one of the core themes of Fi Europe 2024. "Our partnership with the NGO Solidaridad is part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability," says Yannick Verry. "We focus on sustainability topics such as procurement, transparency and compliance at many Fi Europe events." With a data-supported networking tool or the ‘Women's Networking Breakfast’, Fi Europe will once again offer excellent opportunities for networking. The user-friendly Fi Europe online event platform is now available to make it easier for visitors to plan the days of the trade fair, arrange meetings and make the most of their time on site.
