The company was awarded the Fairness First seal for its responsible behaviour and high level of transparency towards employees, business partners and customers. With this seal, diind GmbH recognises companies whose products and processes reflect their own ethical principles and values and who are also committed to complying with ecological, economic and social standards.
The award ceremony took place on 11 and 12 September 2024 as part of the Big Bang Festival at the DUP Entrepreneurs' Day in Berlin.
The Fairness First seal shows that responsibility, appreciation and fairness are always a top priority for Südpack. With sustainable innovations and initiatives as well as the implementation of recycling loops, the family-owned company sees itself as a pioneer for sustainability in the film and packaging industry. At the same time, they are committed to the well-being of people along their supply chains and generate added value for their stakeholders.
In order to achieve its ambitious goals, Südpack is bundling targeted measures in its Sustainability Strategy 2030. Finally the various awards and seals of quality that Südpack has earned in recent years were also taken into account in the assessment.
