Wentus GmbH, supplier of high-performance food, consumer and hygiene packaging, becomes Trioworld Höxter GmbH and is fully integrated into the Trioworld Group. The new, expanded Trioworld product portfolio for food packaging was presented in Nuremberg. Since the formal takeover was completed in early 2024, Wentus GmbH in Höxter has complemented Trioworld's Consumer Packaging division with food packaging films for a wide range of uses and food applications. The new, expanded product portfolio includes customised food films for lamination and pouch production for various applications.

The product portfolio of the new Trioworld site in Höxter combines the high demands of the food industry, such as quality, hygiene and appearance, with greater conservation of resources. Trioworld will retain brand names such as Wentopro®and Wentoflex®.

The film programme under the brand name Wentopro® contains prime examples of resource conservation in the packaging process. These include, for example, the SkinTight®range of premium skin films for various applications. Overall, the films stand for lower energy consumption thanks to lower processing temperatures, reduced use of plastic for the overall packaging thanks to the combination of film and cardboard and good separation of the components for better recycling.

In the area of sliced products such as sausage, cheese or poultry, Wentoflex® Klappack scores highly as a resource-saving, space-saving, eye-catching and cost-efficient solution that uses up to 60% less material. The OPP/cPP flowpacks reduce packaging weight, have reliable barrier properties and, according to Cyclos HTP, are 96% recyclable.
