With the redesign of the two predecessor models from the C2 series, Mettler-Toledo addresses, among others, food manufacturers looking for a sustainably economical end-of-line weighing solution. The scales are designed for heavy and/or large-format products weighing up to 35 kg. C21 StandardLine and C23 PlusLine enable automated completeness checks of shipping or packaging units, even for multi-layered products. The dynamic checkweighers support a throughput of up to 150 (C23 PlusLine) or 100 (C21 StandardLine) weighings per minute. Thanks to wider conveyor belts, the checkweighers are also recommended for checkweighing large-format products with a product width of up to 600 mm. Both checkweighers are available with IP54 and IP65 protection. With the redesign, the company has succeeded in reducing the required motor power of the checkweighers by about 50%. Customers thus benefit from lower power consumption over the entire life cycle of the scales.
