Automation specialist Lütze, Weinstadt, has revised its free and web-based simulation application AirTemp. AirTemp 2.0 can be used to create practical heat forecasts for control cabinets equipped with the Lütze AirStream wiring systems. Thanks to the online application, the most effective measures for needs-based cooling can be identified quickly and easily.

Users can use the all-new AirTemp to calculate the temperatures and temperature stratifications in a control cabinet and thus accurately assess the thermal effect of parameter changes in the control cabinet design and configuration. For example, in the event of a critical condition due to hotspots, the effect of an AirBlower fan, active cooling or a cooler installation location can be simulated. For this purpose, AirTemp mentally divides an enclosure into three zones. The temperature is calculated individually for each of these three zones.
