How do the partners of the food and packaging industry meet today's challenges regarding sustainability, recyclability and optimal product protection? Speakers, exhibitors and trade visitors will address these questions at the ZLV Packaging Symposium.

On 14 and 15 September, the Kempten University of Applied Sciences will once again be the meeting place for all aspects of food packaging. Well-known exhibitors from all areas of the value chain will show their innovations in a spacious exhibition area and invite visitors to discuss them. In addition, highly topical specialist lectures will be offered.

With the topic "Living from nature – sustainable value-added models for food production" the event starts its series of lectures with a strong impulse. Sustainability and possible ways to achieve it is one of the essential, recurring themes of the speakers from science and industry.

With the award of the ZLV sponsorship prize, the best thesis of the Bachelor's programme "Food and Packaging Technology" will be honoured again this year. The criteria for the selection are: Innovative content, practical feasibility, relevance for the food and packaging industry as well as the final grade of the university.

The symposium offers the opportunity for intensive discussions, exchange of ideas and experiences. There will be further opportunities for interdisciplinary networking at the evening event in the Fasshalle in Kempten.
