Sweet variety: confectionery courses and the annual highlight “Inter Praline”


The Central College of the German Confectionery Industry (ZDS) presents a diverse range of courses for the second half of 2023. Especially in the seminar area, a balanced mix of practice-oriented workshops in presence as well as theoretical advanced training measures as online variants is emphasized, as well as the possibility to participate in the further training courses in German, English and Spanish. The ZDS is focused on the modern information needs of confectionery producers. Thus, in addition to the classic intensive and introduction courses for the confectionery industry, the focus will be on the topic of sensory analysis.

A special event dedicated entirely to the future of the praline industry is this year’s “Inter Praline” congress. The world of confectionery is constantly evolving, and pralines in particular have undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years. The congress brings together leading companies, experts and innovators from the praline industry to discuss the latest trends, technologies and challenges.

Production diversity and consumer behaviour are also being shaped by megatrends in the praline sector. More and more consumers attach importance to healthy eating and pay attention to the quality of the products they consume. Sustainability, social responsibility, fair trade, functional ingredients, mindful consumption and healthy snacking – these are just some of the buzzwords addressed by selected speakers under the motto “Inter Praline: Where lifestyle meets delight”. In addition to knowledge transfer, personal exchange and global networking are at the heart of the event. The two-day congress will take place from 6 to 7 December 2023 at the ZDS in Solingen/Germany, promising exciting insights into the future of pralines.
