British ingredients specialist Orchard Valley Foods has completed the acquisition of Confection by Design Limited (CBD), based in Harrogate/UK. CBD are producers of
toffee, honeycomb and fudge as inclusions and decorations for food manufacturers around the world.

Orchard Valley Foods have a longstanding relationship with CBD being a major customer of their products and acting as an exclusive distributor to selected markets. The
acquisition shall anchor Orchard Valley Foods’ position as a global supplier of confectionery based inclusions and deco-rations.

At the same time, Orchard Valley Foods will formally be merging the recently acquired business of County Confectionery Limited into the group. Giving a joint management structure and sharing technical and product development re-sources.
