The modularly expandable Caitron workstation is now available for all industrial CS, CR and CT range industrial PCs. This solution has been specifically designed for use in hygiene-­sensitive sectors, enabling manufacturing companies in all industries to flexibly establish industrial workstations across all production lines.

The workstation enables companies to integrate their existing industrial PCs into different production lines within a production hall. This way, documentation, tracking, labelling and quality assurance can be directly carried out on the relevant line.

“In the production of seasonal goods in sectors such as the food industry it is not unusual for individual lines to have a break in production,” explains Andreas Hirt, Managing Director of Caitron. “The workstation enables companies to create the conditions for efficient use of their industrial workplaces across lines. This ensures optimal utilization of their systems and optimizes ROI as well as overall equipment effectiveness.”

Thanks to its compact design, the workstation made of sturdy stainless steel takes up little room and is therefore suitable for use in production environments with limited space. It features connectivity options to external hardware components such as keyboards, mounts for bar code scanners, printer units and paper trays. Adjustable support legs ensure a stable, vibration-proof stand.

The workstation is compatible with all Caitron CS, CR and CT range IPCs. An integrated Bluetooth module in the housing of the industrial PC en-ables wireless connection of barcode scanners without additional external – and therefore hygiene-critical – hardware such as cradles. All connection cables run through the workstation’s stainless steel pipes, preventing the accumulation of dirt.
