Proform designs and builds individual machines or complete production lines to process a wide variety of products ranging from chewing or bubble gum, soft chews, hard candy or liquorice to biscuits and fruit snacks. At ProSweets, on display will be a GE 50 Laboratory Extruder. The Proform range consists of continuous mixing and blending extruders with a modular process zone for the continuous mixing of bubble gum or dough for biscuits, crackers etc. Another application is the continuous graining of neutral chewy mass, with in-line blending of flavouring and colouring. For the production of liquorice or fruit snacks (with or without fillings) in twists, laces or strips, complete cooking extrusion production lines are available. Options include winders for roll-ups. In fact, the company has a complete range of specific extruders and co-extruders that are able to form single or multi-colour ropes (with or without fillings) for chewing or bubble gum, soft candies or toffees, to feed cut and wrap machines.
