Werner's: EM sugar vermicelli provide highlights


The winners have already been decided: the manufacturers of donuts and ice cream specialties. The customers of Hanns G. Werner GmbH + Co. KG from Tornesch appreciate the quality and decorative advantages. The sugar vermicelli are crispy, temperature-stable and, if desired, protected against moisture so that the colours do not bleed out. The sprinkles are made from regional sugar and the colours mostly come from colouring food. All products are made without palm oil. Packaging can be customised: bags from 5 g to 2.5 kg, boxes in different sizes (2.5-20 kg), buckets and plastic cans as well as resealable bags. In addition to sugar vermicelli, the market is served with other dragée specialties: chocolate sprinkles and flakes, nonpareils in different mixtures or decoration dragées. A special feature is the colouring with real silver.

The medium-sized, family-run company with more than 150 employees has, among other things, the following certifications: ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, Organic, Halal, Kosher, GMP+, RAC, Fairtrade and AEO. The products can be advertised as “nut-free”, “soy-free”, and on request also gluten-free – vegan and sugar-free ones are also available. The company has been a strong partner since 1952. Since 2022, the company's led by the owners Dr Philipp Werner, Jan Werner and Niels Werner from the third generation. Product development to meet customer requirements is a very important part of the busy business. Tests are carried out every day and new, interesting products are created for the great confectionery market.
