The deputy director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV has been appointed honorary professor at the Technical University of Munich. The process engineering graduate had been a private lecturer for "Process engineering of plant-based raw materials" at the TUM School of Life Sciences since 2014. He began his career at the Fraunhofer IVV in 1996 in various positions. In 2006, he became head of the Process Engineering department. His work is characterised by his international network and the acquisition of large research projects.
