Confectionery meets bakery: ZDS at iba München


The iba Munich is the leading world trade fair for bakery, confectionery and snacks and will take place in Munich from 22 to 26 October 2023. This trade fair is an absolute highlight for all professionals and companies in the baking and confectionery industry. A special highlight of iba Munich is the iba.confectionery Tec Area supported by ZDS – the Academy of Sweets. This special zone is located in hall B1 / stand 410 and consists of 12 companies from the confectionery industry presenting their innovative products and solutions. The motto of this zone is "confectionery meets bakery – planning. producing.
controlling." The aim here is to strengthen the link between the confectionery and bakery industries and create synergies.

In the iba.confectionery Tec Area visitors can discover the latest technologies and machines for the production of confectionery and bakery products. From planning to production and control, all aspects of production are covered here. Exhibitors will present their innovative solutions and provide insights into the future of the industry.

The joint stand focuses in particular on the finishing potential of high-quality baked goods. The use of fillings, icings, coatings and decorative items are the key to outstanding quality baked goods and are a classic instrument to differentiate oneself. The use of compounds and chocolate, in particular, offers excellent opportunities to set oneself apart from the competition.
