On 1 July 2023, Lothar Zapf handed over the management of ZLV – Zentrum für Lebensmittel- und Verpackungstechnologie e. V. (Centre for Food and Packaging Technology), Kempten/Germany, to Thomas Lux. During his 30 years of management and consulting experience in the packaging world, the new managing director has become familiar with all relevant processes from materials management to sales, quality management and production. He had overall responsibility at Hueck Folien (now Constantia Flexibles) and at Vereinigte Papierwarenfabriken.
