Jehmlich's product range includes grinding plants for sugar, sweeteners, confectionery and the like. The Compex 212 – 630 explosion protected grinding plants for capacities between 400 and 3,000 kg/h, for example, are made for fine grinding of products such as sugar, starch, cereal products and a large variety of additives. According to the manufacturer, the plants combine a compact layout and a pressure proof design for grinding potentially dust explosive products. The entire grinding system is 10 bar pressure shock resistant. The respective product is fed and dischared via pressure shock resistant and ignition proof rotary valves. The air recirculation makes filter systems for product separation obsolete. The product fineness is adjustable via speed of the mill. The plants are equipped with a Siemens S7 PLC and energy-efficient drives. Sensors monitor process parameters, temperature curves, vibrations as well as pressure conditions. Customized solutions can be developed which allow various ways for feeding and discharge and remain flexible for coming parameter changes.
