Identification, information, robotics and networking are the ingredients that drive industrial automation. This is also made possible by direct or indirect coding, whether with ink, laser or labels. Corresponding marking solutions from Bluhm Systeme apply the necessary data and codes to products and packaging and communicate with the systems of the merchandise management chain.
When it comes to high speeds and a reliable print image, the Linx-8900 series inkjet printers from Bluhm Systeme are said to be all-rounders with foresight. They print more than 2,000 characters per second and achieve print speeds of up to 9.1 m/s. The ink and solvent levels as well as the viscosity of the ink are constantly checked and adjusted. This contributes to a permanently high-class print result and creates production reliability even in humid, cold, dusty or hot production environments. The print head only needs to be cleaned every three months on average. Maintenance can also be carried out internally. The printers can be intuitively controlled via a 10" colour touch display with robust, solvent-resistant polymer protection. The printers are “designed for life”: All components are of correspondingly high quality and will outlast the life cycle of the printer. The ink selection is versatile: 24 dye inks, special inks for the food industry and material that can be used to combat product counterfeiting and for traceability are available.
The Legi-Flex 6100 3D labelling portal takes shipping labelling to a new level, as it does away with the time-con-suming alignment of products along a reference edge. All industries with time-critical processes benefit from this. Even at high speeds, the label dispenser uses a camera to determine the position and volume of cardboard boxes and bags on the conveyor belt, precisely adjusts its applicator to this and applies the labelling without contact, which is why it is suitable for sensitive products. The system ensures reliable labelling at a previously precisely defined position, even if products cannot be guided or separated exactly on a conveyor belt. The labelling portal can thus also be used on particularly short and tightly dimensioned lines, offering a high degree of flexibility. It labels at high speed up to 60 packages per minute and processes 4" or 100 mm wide label material as well as standardized DHL, Hermes and UPS shipping labels.
The AP 182 pallet labeller labels pallets on three sides. Each pallet can be controlled individually. Seven positioning profiles can be configured. This is made possible by an applicator driven by a stepper motor via linear axes. The labeller can be triggered individually by each pallet and subsequently activates a corresponding movement profile. Seven travel paths are programmable. This is made possible by an applicator that is moved via linear axes by means of a stepper motor drive. The AP 182 achieves top speeds of 120 pallets per hour for two-sided labelling and 90 pallets per hour for three-sided labelling. For three-sided labelling, it requires only two pallet stops. The AP 182 RT has a rotating applicator that enables both vertical and horizontal labelling.
