Movable loading system serves multiple loading bays

The upgrade of the autonomously moving Trapo Loading System (TLS series) from the globally active Trapo GmbH, a solution provider for industrial automation, offers new, pioneering features. Even slimmer and with optimized sensor technology, the loading system is picked up by the Trapo Loading Mover (TLM series) and moved by rail or wheel drive. In this way, a single TLS can serve several loading bays in a highly efficient way.

Recently, a production-ready system with industry-standard components was presented. Hardware and software come from a single source, and the customer has a single point of contact for all matters. Another plus: The TLS, which will go into series production, presented itself electrically in a modular design. The compact, auto-nomous loading and unloading system eliminates the hectic danger zone between warehouse and truck. In combination with automated guided vehicles, it replaces the usual forklift transports between production, warehouse and loading zone.

The TLS 3600 was presented with its hub in partial function; in addition, cine-matic insights into the ongoing production of the TLS development partner, Jermi Käsewerk GmbH, were provided. Together with the Trapo team, the company planned and automated a new hall especially for logistical processes. This was done with high-performance layer palletizers, warehouse logistics, a swarm of automated guided vehicles and autonomous loading with the Trapo loading system.
