With the T series, Mesutronic Gerätebau is expanding its EasyScope X-ray device range. The focus of the development was on time savings for users from quality assurance, plant engineering and production management as well as an increase in overall plant efficiency. Tool-free dismantling for maintenance and cleaning in the area of the conveyor belt increases the availability of the entire system. The connection options to Scada systems have also been expanded in the sense of Industry 4.0. The current OPC UA standard is used here. In addition to the internal reporting options, this enables efficient monitoring and optimization of the performance of the entire production line. The first device size to be presented is the compact EasyScope ST. As the smallest device in the series, it is primarily used to inspect narrow product sizes such as products in the snack or confectionery industry or fine baked goods. With a very slim footprint, the system is also very well suited for retrofitting. Since no compromises have been made in terms of X-ray performance, even fine glass splinters or stones are reliably detected.
