Cast resin floors are often dismissed as purely industrial floors. However, in addition to its use in workshops and industrial halls, cast resin also scores points in other areas such as the office environment. The biggest advantage of cast resin floors is already in the name: They are cast in one piece - i.e. without joints or seams that allow dirt, germs or bacteria easy play.

Depending on the type of use, cast resin is applied as a floor coating in different thicknesses. Minimum layer thicknesses of 2 to 3 mm are feasible. The low application height therefore predestines cast resin floors not only for new buildings but also for use in existing buildings and renovations. Because the coating is applied in liquid form and hardens directly on the construction site, the floor surface does not have any disturbing seams or joints, such as those that occur when laying PVC or tiles. There is no need for time-consuming laying and cutting work. This means that a cast resin floor is not only economical to install, but can also be implemented quickly.

A special plus: The UV-resistant and solvent-free coatings are hard-wearing and durable as well as particularly easy to clean, as the seamless nature facilitates cleaning. Pore-sealed, liquid-tight and resistant to backward moisture penetration, the floors also meet the strict EU regulations for the food industry.

Depending on the composition, the floors are particularly abrasion-resistant. The setting of the wear layer ranges from viscoplastic to slip-resistant and to smooth. The wide variety of colours, in combination with decorative flakes and graphic elements up to logos, allows for individual design. For interiors with high demands on indoor air quality, specialized flooring companies such as Fürstenhöfer also install appropriately designed cast resin floors.
