“Blonde” chocolate variety with natural caramel flavour


With its new “blonde” variety White Caramel showcased at Fi Europe 2021 trade fair, the traditional company Lubeca has developed a special product based on a white chocolate. A natural caramel flavour, a fresh milk character, a creamy mouthfeel, a subtle salty note and the golden appearance of the choco-late are said to make the prod-uct distinctive. “We are proud to introduce our ´fourth colour´,” said Erich Dietrich, Head of Product Development at Lubeca. “It is ideal for making pralines, confectionery and baked goods as well as ice cream and desserts, and especially for pure indulgence.” The thin-bodied chocolate, which contains 32 % cocoa, 40 % fat and 32 % milk, has a shelf life of at least 18 months and will be available from January 2022.
