In Cologne, SACMI Packaging & Chocolate will be showing several new developments under the Carle & Montanari and OPM brands. The machines are designed for the efficient moulding, wrapping and packaging of chocolate and confectionery.
On show for the first time at a trade fair is the HY7 multi-style praline wrapping machine. The system under the Carle & Montanari brand offers high output of up to 700 pralines per minute and masters the current challenges with regard to flexible formats. Highly efficient, the machine processes even very delicate or irregularly shaped products. The individual servo-driven parts of the folding unit can be flexibly adapted not only to the praline shape, but also to the properties of the wrapping film, so that the latest generation of environmentally friendly films can also be processed.
Produced and marketed under the OPM brand, the JT Advance horizontal form, fill and seal machine series is designed for packaging confectionery and bakery products. Its extensive configurability makes it very suitable for products such as chocolate and muesli bars, snacks and chocolates which require a high output of up to 150 m of film per minute. Low operating costs, minimized operating effort and simplified maintenance are combined with short changeover times.
Also new is the MLRG 1500 rotary dosing machine under the Carle & Montanari brand. Its point dosing system is suitable for forming chocolate drops, chips, sticks or chuncks, which are intended as semi-finished products for the bakery industry or as “easy-melt products” for bakeries and end consumers. Users benefit from high outputs of between 1,000 and 3,000 kg/h as well as simple and fast format changeovers.
