A professional membership service is more important than ever. Especially nowadays, when the confectionery industry is struggling with increased costs and uncertainties in the export business due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the dialogue between members and the ZDS (Central College of the German Confectionery Industry) association is an important element for trust and long-term cooperation.
In order to support the members of the ZDS even better in topics such as the promotion of vocational training, trainee acquisition or product development, a new member service employee was hired in April of this year. As Head of Member Services, Thomas Eierhoff is the first point of contact for new and existing members. His tasks include special offers for members, recording requests and topics as well as networking with other members to create synergy effects.
In this regard, Thomas Eierhoff emphasizes the great potential of the ZDS: “In the well-equipped technical departments, trials can be carried out on an industrial scale. This is particularly interesting for small and mediumsized companies that do not have their own product development department. Also of particular interest to our members in the current situation are our flexible and individual further trainings provided by the ZDS instructors with the help of online training courses”.
In addition to the above-mentioned points, the benefits of ZDS membership also include reduced participation fees at seminars and congresses, the use of the expert network or support in the search for specialists. Further information on membership:
