At FachPack, Ishida will be showing high-performance solutions for weighing and packaging as well as quality control. The company offers a very broad product range of multihead weighers. A suitable entry-level model for dry, free-flowing products is the CCW-SE3 multihead weigher. This easy-to-operate machine manages up to 100 weighings per minute with an accuracy of 0.1 g in the version with 14 heads. In the high-end range, the CCW-RV waterproof multihead weighers offer high performance for a wide range of applications. The 16-head model, to be demonstrated at FachPack, can handle up to 120 weighings per minute and is very well suited for feeding two form-fill-seal machines thanks to its double discharge.

Ishida iTPS (Integrated Total Packaging System) is a complete packaging solution for snacks. The system combines the Inspira form-fill-seal machine and a CCW-RV multihead weigher. Market-leading speeds of up to 150 bags per minute for crisps and up to 200 bags per minute for extruded snacks are possible. At the same time, the weight accuracy is high, and the sealing seams remain free of product inclusions. A wide variety of packaging formats can be processed, such as tubular, gusseted, stand-up or chain bags.

The X-ray inspection systems of the IX-GN series inspect a wide variety of food products. Reliable foreign object protection is ensured even for products that are difficult to detect – packaged or unpackaged. Fully automatic leak detection for MAP trays and bags is made possible by Ishida AirScan. The inline system detects holes from 0.2 mm in diameter at speeds of up to 180 packages per minute and can be easily retrofitted to existing lines.
