Dresden Packaging Conference becomes an online event

From 2 to 4 December 2020, the German Packaging Institute (dvi) invites all actors from industry, brands, trade, science and research together with students to the traditional end-of-year meeting of the sector. To mark its 30th anniversary, this year, the Dresden Packaging Conference will take place online as “Digital Packaging Days”. The network platform focuses on the topics of sustainability, circular economy and digitization.

“This year, our participants unfortunately have to forego the traditional flair of the Dresden Christmas markets,” says dvi Managing Director and conference moderator Winfried Batzke. “But apart from that, the Digital Packaging Days of the dvi offer the usual high-quality content and top speakers. The network character and the unique opportunity to get in touch with students of packaging-related courses are also retained. We rely on a special matchmaking tool for this.”

The Digital Packaging Days of the dvi start on 2 December with student panels for sustainability projects of various companies. On 3 and 4 December, the event offers participants lectures by experts from leading companies. In addition, exciting start-ups with innovative products and services will be presented. Interactive participation and networking of the participants is made possible and is welcome.
