With the merger of the nationally active sugar distribution company ZVG and the international trading company Zuckerhandelsunion ZHU to Boettger Food
Ingredients GmbH (BFI), the raw materials businesses of the Boettger Group are now combined in one company. The merged company is based at the Boettger Group’s headquarters in Berlin.

BFI’s product portfolio includes the segments Sugar & Liquid Sugar, Nuts & Dried Fruit and Sugar Alternatives. The range includes white sugar from the EU, imported white and brown cane sugar from third countries, liquid sugar and syrups from the production of own affiliates, nuts and nut kernels, dried fruit and sugar alternatives such as agave syrup, coconut blossom sugar as well as rice syrup.

In addition to BFI and its subsidiary ZH-Trading LLC in Dubai, the Boettger Group’s sugar division also includes three associated companies for the production of liquid sugar and specialties. The medium-sized group is also active in the confectionery industry (Cavendish & Harvey Confectionery GmbH), in food tank logistics as well as in the real estate sector.
