On 1 May, 2018, Professor Dr Reinhard Matissek celebrates his 30th anniversary as head of the Food Chemistry Institute (LCI) of the Federal Association of the German Confectionery Industry e. V. (BDSI). Prof. Matissek has contributed much to the reputation and credibility of BDSI and the confectionery industry during this time. As a professor of food chemistry at the Technical University of Berlin, Prof. Matissek enjoys a high reputation not only among the BDSI member companies, but also in the scientific community.
