Everyone that follows the market might have noticed that the fastest growing segment in the chocolate industry is the “crafted premium” one: real craftsmen that make small quantities of high end chocolate bars from top ingredients according to creative recipes. Lareka will present its newly designed BTB bar wrapper for traditional premium packaging styles (image). The machine has a very big size range from 25 to 250 g bars. It can be size converted in less than 15 min by an operator. The speed is more than sufficient for crafted chocolatiers.
Beside the new machine, Lareka will show a few other solutions that meet the today market developments. The most important packaging trends are “transparent packaging” and “premiumization” – products that are shown through transparent windows, and premium printing with embossing and gold foil.
