The topics of waste management and the general handling of waste and rework in production and packaging are getting increasingly important for many companies. The Aalen Recycling and Technology Centre – ARTECC GmbH for short – deals exclusively with the design, manufacture and further development of its own products in the field of shredding technology, extraction systems and plant engineering as an OEM.

Shredding technology and extraction systems from ARTECC are used in the field of food production wherever packaging or labelling waste is produced and has to be automatically removed from the production systems without affecting production itself or even having to destroy food. For packaging and wrapping machines as well as for labellers, the company offers individual technical solutions tailored to different requirements.

The company’s core competence lies in the shredders it has developed in-house. Their advantages include a very high cutting and throughput capacity as well as easy cleaning and maintenance. Small installation sizes make the systems suitable for many applications. A significant advantage is that the knives can be adjusted during operation. This avoids additional costs for dismantling the shredder and the associated production standstill.

The systems in stainless steel design are also used where the HACCP concept has to be implemented. In combination with a rework in the production process, high savings potentials can be generated. Individual planning, configuration and construction of the plants are complemented by a worldwide service, repair and grinding service for shredding systems (also for third-party products) as well as conversions and modifications of existing plants.
