For many months now, the Covid pandemic has had the world firmly under control and has prevented valuable encounters with customers, partners and prospective parties for the second year. Nonetheless, WDS does not want to miss the opportunity to get in direct touch with customers to share the latest machines, technologies and innovations for tomorrow´s confectionery production. Thus, the company recently organized its first virtual fair “Virtual Experience”. In 18 well-attended live events, WDS presented to the registered audience some of the most up-to-date, completely different types of confectionery plants for chocolate, gum and jelly as well as fondant and toffee.
ConfecPro, for example, is a highly flexible production plant for medium and high production capacities for filled and solid chocolates or, more recently, also for jelly products. It meets customer requirements for maximized accessibility, process monitoring and hygiene.
The mogul plant Type 660 with chainless Guided Pusher System is used for the production of all classic starch deposited articles, for example made of gum and jelly. It combines the proven mogul technology with a modern, hygienic and easy-care drive system.
The WDS innovation ConfecVario with its ingenious machine concept is used for the production of chocolate and jelly articles with high flexibility thanks to an innovative drive system and technologies for completely new plant layouts. This also includes the chainless multifunction cabinet VarioCabinet for cooling, heating and dwelling of polycarbonate moulds.
