Stora Enso will introduce a new board grade at the Packaging Innovations trade show in Birmingham on 24–25 February 2016. The CKB Carrier 380 g/m2 grade is a multilayer kraft back board ideal for beverage multipacks and other packaging applications that require ultimate durability combined with excellent printability and food safety. In addition, the CKB Carrier board offers wet strength. The surface roughness contributes to good printability in both rotogravure and offset printing. Besides being a renewable and recyclable material, CKB Carrier also provides a natural appearance thanks to its brown reverse.
